JOB TITLE:                               SURVEILLANCE TECHNICIAN             

DEPARTMENT:                         SURVEILLANCE

STATUS:                                  FULL TIME REPORTS TO:                          DIRECTOR OF SURVEILLANCE RATE:                                     

 

JOB SUMMARY:

Greet all internal Guests as proceed through the day.   Adhere to all Company policies and gaming regulations.  Perform responsibilities in accordance with all standards, policies and procedures.

 

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:  

  • Service and cleaning of existing cameras internally and externally
  • Installation of new cameras, switches, servers, conduit and terminating/pulling data lines
  • Inspect, maintain and monitor all Surveillance equipment and infrastructure components daily (servers, U.P.S. Unites, Power Supplies, Switches, Encoders, Cameras, Workstations and any other hardware and programing software used in the operation of the Surveillance system)
  • Respond to emergency repair and upgrading of equipment
  • Keep a close line of communication with Surveillance Director by notifying and documenting all relevant information regarding the operational status of the Surveillance System and its dependents
  • Sustain and uphold malfunction/maintenance Log(s), keeping if current and accurate

 

QUALIFICATIONS:  

  • Must possess or able to obtain and retain a Gaming License
  • Familiarity and experience with IP camera equipment, as well as methods of installation, operation and maintenance preferred
  • Safety conscious and adhere to all company rules, policies and Gaming regulations at all time
  • Strong verbal communication skills

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:

  • High School graduate or equivalent preferred.

PHYSICAL, MENTAL AND WORK ENVIRONMENT:

  • Requires normal, corrective vision range, the ability to see color and the ability to distinguish letters, numbers and symbols.
  • Ability to climb, bend, reach, pull up to 50 pounds, walk and stand for the duration of the shift.
  • Must be able to work in high elevated areas. Working from lifts and/or ladders with exposure to dusty, smoke filled, bright lights and noisy environments.
