Job description

We are requesting a temporary contractor to cover a paternity leave absence from October 26, 2026, through January 7, 2027. The additional resource will help ensure uninterrupted project execution, maintain delivery commitments, and preserve overall team effectiveness during this period.

Responsibilities:
  • Partner with cross-functional teams, including engineering, product management, design, and research, to ensure the delivery of high-quality products.
  • Develop and implement scalable test automation solutions to improve test coverage, reliability, and efficiency.
  • Design, execute, and maintain automated tests for functional, integration, performance, and end-to-end scenarios.
  • Create automation test plans and test cases from product requirements, technical designs, and user workflows.
  • Diagnose defects, perform root cause analysis, and collaborate with developers to resolve issues quickly and effectively.
  • Validate product quality across diverse platforms, operating systems, and deployment environments.
  • Support and enhance CI/CD pipelines with automated testing and quality gates.
  • Monitor quality metrics and test outcomes to identify opportunities for continuous improvement.
  • Drive innovation in test automation, tooling, and quality engineering best practices to increase team effectiveness and product quality.
Required Skills:
  • 2โ€“4 years of experience in software test automation, quality engineering, or software development.
  • Strong programming skills in Python, JavaScript, Java, C++, or similar languages.
  • Experience developing and maintaining test automation frameworks, tools, and infrastructure.
