We’re hiring a Floater / Production Support team member for a local steel fabrication company that manufactures gas station canopies, barns, car washes, steel buildings, and other structural steel components.
This is a great opportunity for someone with production, fabrication, construction, or industrial experience who enjoys staying busy, learning different areas of the shop, and jumping in wherever help is needed.
�� Pay: $18–$19+/hour, depending on experience
�� Schedule:
Monday–Thursday: 7:00 AM–3:30 PM
Friday: 7:00 AM–2:30 PM
What You’ll Do:
* Assist different areas of production and fabrication as needed
* Fabricate and assemble steel components
* Use power tools and shop machinery
* Assist with roll forming, plasma cutting, and other production equipment
* Read blueprints and measure materials accurately
* Paint beams, purlins, and fabricated parts as needed
* Help with shipping, staging, and loading materials onto trailers
* Lift and move heavy steel and canopy components
* Maintain a clean and safe work area
* Step in and help team members wherever needed
What We’re Looking For:
* Previous production, fabrication, manufacturing, construction, or similar hands-on experience
* Must be able to read a tape measure
* Must be able to read and follow blueprints
* Strong safety awareness and good judgment around equipment
* Comfortable using power tools and working around machinery
* Ability to safely perform the physical requirements of the position, including lifting and moving heavy materials, with or without reasonable accommodation
* Dependable and motivated with a strong work ethic

* Plasma cutting, forklift, shipping/loading, or steel fabrication experience is a PLUS!
