The Plant Operator coordinates the cylinder filling to streamline cylinder handling. Before out-off, fill the cylinder on stock. After out-off, fill the cylinder to cover customer requirements.
  • Cylinder Checking: includes an attentive review of new and return cylinders & bundles such as: year test or tube accessories, Paints, Valves, Caps etc. Check condition of frame bundles and manifold, and sort between ready-to-fill cylinders and bundles and cylinder and bundles to maintenance area.
  • Cylinder Maintenance: Support the treatment equipment such as hydrotest machine, dryer, painting equipment, and oven before operation to be safe and ensure they can be operated properly. Cylinder or valve leak test before installing using soapy water. Painting the cylinder in accordance with government compliance and standards. Support cylinder testing with hydrotest machine in accordance with government regulation. Support valving / de-valving of cylinder in accordance with AL safety standards. Support drying & vacuum bake oven of cylinders. Foster the conformity of the cylinders according to the color and its gas. Foster a smooth handover process of cylinders to the filling area and Initialize GTS barcode on the cylinder after the maintenance process.
  • Cylinder Accessories: Support the replacement of defect accessories. Install the cap and valve type according to gas and cylinder allocation. Attach stickers according to product specifications and grades.
  • Quality Check Maintenance: Support quality check of dew point check per batch cylinder VBO as product specification needed. Foster the integrity of quality of all products. Ideally, you are qualified to do functional testing on analyzers.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Previous experience in plant operations, industrial maintenance, or a related field is preferred.
  • Technical certification in industrial operations is a plus.
  • Industrial Gas Experience.
