Prequalification's

  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • A minimum of five (5) years of experience as a Compressor Mechanic, Rotating Equipment Mechanic, Industrial Mechanic, or related role within the oil and gas, energy, industrial, or manufacturing industries.

Required Experience

  • Experience performing maintenance, troubleshooting, repairs, and overhauls on compressors, pumps, engines, and other rotating equipment.
  • Experience with Ariel and Dresser Rand compressors is strongly preferred.
  • Must be knowledgeable in operation and maintenance requirements of heavy-duty construction equipment, light-duty equipment, diesel and gasoline motors, and engines.
  • Must be able to maintain and use hand and power tools, including automotive servicing equipment.
  • Must be able to read, write and speak English.
  • Ability to read, write and speak Spanish is a plus.

Essential Functions Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform essential functions.

  • Perform preventative maintenance, inspections, troubleshooting, repairs, and overhauls on compressors, pumps, engines, and associated rotating equipment.
  • Diagnose mechanical failures and identify root causes to restore equipment reliability and operational performance.
  • Maintain and repair Ariel compressors, Dresser Rand compressors, air compressors, pumps, and related oil and gas production equipment.
  • Inspect equipment and components for wear, damage, leaks, and operational deficiencies.
  • Read and interpret equipment manuals, technical drawings, schematics, and manufacturer specifications.
  • Perform equipment alignments, adjustments, component replacements, and mechanical repairs.
  • Complete maintenance documentation, inspection reports, work orders, and other required records accurately and timely.
  • Coordinate with operations personnel to schedule maintenance activities and minimize equipment downtime.
  • Maintain tools, equipment, and work areas in a safe, clean, and organized condition.
  • Operate company vehicles, tools, and equipment in accordance with company policies and safety requirements.
  • Travel to project and customer locations, including Casper, Wyoming, as operational needs require.
  • Work effectively in Microsoft Office Suite, maintenance management systems, Adobe Acrobat, and other software programs used to document and communicate maintenance activities.
  • Operate computers, tablets, mobile devices, scanners, printers, and other technology required to perform job duties.
  • Identify, report, and assist in correcting unsafe conditions and potential hazards.
  • Follow all Company policies, client requirements, and applicable regulatory standards.
  • Obtain and maintain certifications required by the Company or Client, including but not limited to BBP, Site Orientations, First Aid, CPR, OSHA Training, PEC, H2S, and Operator Qualifications.
  • Work extended hours, weekends, and callouts as necessary to support operational and customer requirements.
