About the role
Miebach Consulting is seeking a Manager - Process & IT to lead the delivery of supply chain technology transformation projects while supporting the continued growth of our North American Process & IT practice. This role combines project leadership, client engagement, business development, and people leadership to help clients implement technology solutions that improve operational performance across their supply chains.
The successful candidate will serve as a trusted advisor to clients, leading software selection and implementation projects involving Warehouse Management Systems (WMS), Transportation Management Systems (TMS), and other supply chain technologies. This individual will collaborate with cross-functional teams, system integrators, and technology vendors to deliver successful client outcomes while mentoring junior consultants and contributing to the growth of Miebach's Process & IT practice.
Key Responsibilities
Project Leadership & Client Delivery
  • Lead end-to-end delivery of supply chain IT transformation projects from discovery and assessment through implementation, go-live, and stabilization.
  • Manage WMS, TMS, and other supply chain software selection, evaluation, and implementation engagements.
  • Assess client business processes and IT landscapes to develop technology strategies, implementation roadmaps, and solution recommendations.
  • Facilitate workshops, requirements gathering sessions, and solution design activities with client stakeholders.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for project stakeholders, providing executive-level communication, status reporting, and governance throughout project execution.
  • Coordinate activities across client teams, software vendors, system integrators, and automation providers to ensure successful project delivery.
  • Manage project scope, schedules, risks, budgets, and deliverables while maintaining Miebach's project management standards and delivery methodology.
  • Ensure solutions align with client business objectives, technical requirements, and industry best practices.

Client Relationship Management
  • Develop and maintain trusted relationships with client stakeholders at all organizational levels.
  • Provide strategic guidance throughout project execution and support clients in achieving their long-term supply chain technology objectives.
  • Identify opportunities to expand client engagements and support long-term account growth.

Business Development & Practice Growth
  • Support business development efforts through proposal development, solution design, client presentations, and strategic pursuits.
  • Contribute to the continued growth of Miebach's Process & IT consulting practice by developing methodologies, best practices, and service offerings.
  • Collaborate with colleagues across Miebach's Supply Chain Strategy, Network Design, Automation, and Implementation practices to deliver integrated client solutions.

People Leadership
  • Mentor, coach, and develop consultants through project leadership, technical guidance, and regular performance feedback.
  • Foster a collaborative, high-performing team environment focused on continuous learning and delivery excellence.
  • Support recruiting, onboarding, and professional development initiatives within the Process & IT practice.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Information Systems, Industrial Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • 8-10 years of experience delivering supply chain technology consulting or implementation projects.
  • Experience with WMS, TMS, ERP, or other enterprise supply chain software platforms.
  • Demonstrated success managing multiple client projects and cross-functional teams.
  • Strong understanding of supply chain operations, business process design, and systems implementation methodologies.
  • Excellent communication, facilitation, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to build trusted client relationships and effectively engage with executive leadership.
  • Willingness to travel as required to support client engagements.
