Job description

The Opportunity:

In this role, you will report to the site services supervisor and will work closely with the Avantor's Lab and Production Services professionals to serve our customers by performing customized, mission-based lab work and research protocols that help return time back to science.

Hourly Rate: $17.00

Shift: Monday - Friday, 6 am - 3 pm, 1-hour break

Location: Chandler, AZ

What we're looking for

  • Education: High School Diploma or GED preferred but not required

  • Experience: 0 - 1 year of experience in a warehouse, logistics, laboratory, or similar materials-handling environment

  • Collaboration Tool: Microsoft Teams experience preferred

  • No prior laboratory-specific experience required; on-the-job training provided

  • Demonstrated ability to follow written and verbal instructions accurately and consistently

  • Basic reading and math skills sufficient to verify item counts, read labels, and complete activity logs

  • Ability to use a handheld scanner or tablet device for inventory tracking (training provided)

  • Familiarity with standard material handling equipment (hand carts, dollies) or willingness to learn

  • Lift, carry, push, or pull up to 50 pounds (23kg) with or without assistance.

  • Stand and walk for extended periods across a customer facility.

Avantor's Lab and Production Services team is a crucial part of the Avantor Services group serving over 500 customers in biopharma, pharmaceutical, educational, industrial, and high-tech industries with customizable, flexible solutions and end-to-end laboratory operations support.

In this role you will:

  • Point of use replenishment ofgarments

  • Collection of usedgarments.

  • Inspection of usedgarments to identify any damage before shipment.

  • Collection of usage data at the point of use and adding it to the tracking log

  • Receive inbound shipments from common carriers.

  • Daily inspections of inventory & soil bins check to avoid overflow.

  • Ordering newgarments as needed or any special sizes.

  • Mapping outgarmentlocations for training aids

  • Point person for anygarmentissues or concerns.

  • Other duties as assigned.
