THE ย GARLAND HOTELPosition โ€“ oVERNIGHT ATTENDANTย ย ย ย ย ย ย 

Department -ย  HOUSEKEEPINGย ย ย ย ย ย ย ย ย ย ย ย 

Division - ROOMS

Position Purpose: To clean and maintain all assigned areas focusing on The Front Yard and restrooms in order to achieve The Garland standards of quality.

Essential Functions:ย 

  • Thoroughly cleans sink, pilets, urinal, mirrors, tiles counters, walls, stalls, vent and/or floors using cleaning agents and equipment provide be extending arms over head to reach all above areas. Adhere to cleaning procedures and instructions for use of cleaning agents.
  • Thoroughly dust furniture, pictures, and shelves, windowsill, and all flat extending arms over head, bending and stooping as needed.
  • Thoroughly clean and polish all metal surfaces, applying pressure in repeat motion.
  • Vacuums restaurant and public areas as needed.
  • Clean all areas as required.
  • Sweep and mop dining area and public restrooms as required.
  • Report any maintenance issues to Engineering.
  • Perform any/all deep cleaning requirements as scheduled.
  • Follow daily/weekly and monthly checklist of job duties that need to be performed.
  • Perform other job related duties as requested by management

Position Requirements:

Education & Experience: ย Basic ability to comprehend English language sufficient to understand information such as safety labels and instruction. Prefer 6 months of previous housekeeping experience.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities: Any combination of education and experience that provides the required knowledge, skill, and abilities. Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:ย  Pleasant personality, team-oriented and enjoy working with and serving people; good cleaning skills.

Reporting Relationship:

This position reports to the Floor Supervisor, Housekeeping Manager and Director of Housekeeping.
