Job description

If you enjoy working outdoors with a flexible schedule (perfect for students) Pleasant View Gardens is the place for you!  We are seeking energetic candidates to complete general labor tasks, such as loading and unloading trailers, loading materials and plants, basic yard maintenance, and receiving plant deliveries. PVG offers a casual, open-door, and team-oriented culture.


We provide on-the-job training, as well as support and offer further and ongoing education and training opportunities. We look forward to connecting with you to discuss a potential position with us!


Duties and Responsibilities 

  • Unloading of trucks and garden trailers; completing daily inventory
  • General maintenance and cleaning of equipment
  • Loading of materials and plants in trailers for the next day’s work
  • Assisting with property management including watering, lawn care, and basic maintenance
  • Executing direction from the crew supervisor in a timely and efficient manner


Helpful Skills & Abilities 

  • Experience working with and/or identifying gardening tools
  • Experience working with backpack blowers
  • Detail orientated
  • Working with a team, as well as independently
  • Willingness to work outside with general labor duties


Schedule

  • Tentative Start Date: mid-April
  • Monday - Friday  *Flexibility, such as 3 days a week
  • 4:30 pm - 8:30 pm
  • No weekends!
