Pleasant View Gardens is hiring gardeners of all skill levels to join our team. This position will be a part of developing and maintaining beautiful gardens & landscapes. Voted as the 2024 Lake Minnetonka Best Design/Landscaping Service, we are looking for candidates who share PVG's values of high integrity, quality work, and excellent customer service.

If you love to work outside and have a knowledge or interest in plant materials, including houseplants, annuals, perennials, shrubs, and trees, we would love to speak to you!  Our staff work 4-day weeks giving you a 3-day weekend!

Candidates receive on-the-job training and educational opportunities to grow and enhance their plant knowledge. We even offer free plants!

Here are the important functions of this position:

• Spring planting, seasonal maintenance, and fall cleanup
• Creating unique seasonal container displays
• Trimming and sculpting of trees and shrubs
• Watering, fertilizing, deadheading, and general tidying of gardens
  
• Garden renovation
• Working with a team
• Opportunity to work outdoors in the dirt

• Communicates effectively with the Crew Leader and co-workers
• Works efficiently to complete assigned tasks without supervision

Job Types: Part-time, Full-time

Salary: $20.00 - 26.00 per hour/based on experience

Schedule:

• Tentative Start Date:  March 16, 2026
• 10-hour shift
• Day shift  *Hours are 7:20 am - 6:00 pm
• Tuesday to Friday  *Mondays off
  

Ability to commute/relocate:

• Maple Plain, MN: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)

License/Certification:

• Class D license (Preferred)
  

Work Location: In person; travel to job sites via company vehicles
