Job description

We are seeking a Garden Center - General Labor & Customer Service Associate to join our team! We're looking for a reliable, energetic and customer-focused individuals to join us on our mission to beautify our communities with amazing plants and flowers! If you love working outdoors, enjoy helping people and have a green thumb (or want to grow one) this is your opportunity!!
Responsibilities:

ย  ย  ย  ย  ย  * Assist with unloading deliveries, stocking benches and displaysย  with plants, organizing inventory, watering plants, andย maintaining outdoor displays.

ย  ย  ย  ย  ย  *. Greet customers, assist with product recommendations, assist with directing customers to plant locations in the garden center, help customers load and unload carts and vehicles and ensure a positive experienceย 

ย  ย  ย  ย  ย  *. Assist with labeling/ pricing plants, keeping the garden center neat, clean, and visually appealing. Rotate stock as needed and remove damaged plants.

ย  ย  ย  ย  ย  *ย  Assist with unloadingย ย fruit and vegetable deliveries, stocking cooler's and fruit and vegetable displays. Keeping all areas of fruit and vegetable handling and displays clean and visually appealing.ย 

โ€‹Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in retail, nursery and greenhouse is preferred but not necessary.ย  We are willing to train motivated candidates.ย 
  • Ability to lift 50+ lbs, be on your feet for long periods and able to work in varying weather conditions (heat, cold, rain)
  • A positive attitude and good work ethic, strong communication skills, and a genuine willingness to help customers.
  • Basic knowledge of plants, gardening, and landscaping preferred but not required.ย 
  • Weekend work is required.ย 
  • Must have reliable transportationย
