Job description

Sagano Garden is a compact, mobile vertical gardening system, fully designed, engineered, and manufactured — not a concept or prototype. The product is debt-free, in ready inventory, and already live on Home Depot and Walmart online. Founder-led and based in Naples, FL, we're now expanding into physical retail and looking for the right independent sales rep to help make that happen.

This is a commission-only, independent sales rep role. You'll identify and approach new retail customers for Sagano Garden's product line — garden centers, hardware stores, home and outdoor living retailers, and gift shops. Day-to-day work includes visiting stores and potential accounts, presenting the product, negotiating terms, and closing sales. You'll also maintain relationships with accounts you bring on, monitor their inventory needs, and coordinate with us directly on orders and fulfillment. You manage your own schedule and territory.

Qualifications:

  • Demonstrated experience in face-to-face sales, prospecting, and closing deals with retail accounts
  • Ability to build and maintain long-term customer relationships
  • Experience presenting products, handling objections, and negotiating terms
  • Strong self-direction, time management, and territory planning skills
  • Comfortable working commission-only, with a track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets
  • Knowledge of home and garden products or related consumer goods markets is a strong plus
  • Clear verbal and written communication skills
  • Basic comfort with smartphone, email, and simple CRM or spreadsheet tools for tracking leads
  • Previous experience as a field sales rep, independent rep, or manufacturer's rep preferred but not required

Product samples, sell sheets, and photography provided to support your presentations. Open to discussing commission structure and territory with the right person.
