Job description

Daily duties of a Garden Center Assistant include: Customer service, Customer checkout, Inventory handling, maintaining plant inventory including daily watering, fertilizing, weed and pest control. This position is great for people that enjoy learning and working around plants and enjoy working outdoors. This position does require a lot of bending, lifting, pushing and pulling, and walking. Weekly Work Schedule would be between 20 and 30 hours, that would include weekends. This is a great entry level position for a person to have the opportunity to learn about plants and work in a friendly, safe work environment.
