Job description

Gaming Displays Product Planner
Description -
This role is responsible for leading Gaming Display Portfolio Planning, defining the products that will shape the future of the gaming display business. The role owns product planning from early product definition through Plan of Record, at which point the program is transitioned to the execution team for development and launch. It plays a critical leadership role in translating voice of the customer, market trends, competitive insights, technology roadmaps, and business priorities into compelling product concepts, specifications, and portfolio recommendations.
As part of one of the most exciting and innovation-led segments within the Display portfolio, this role helps define products for customers who are constantly seeking the latest technology to elevate their gaming experience. Success in this role requires strong partnership across category, engineering, ODMs, regional and global teams, and external customers to ensure products are relevant, differentiated, and positioned to win.
This is a high-impact opportunity within a small, agile, and growth-oriented team with ambitions to significantly expand the Gaming Displays business over the next three years. The role offers the chance to work in a fast-paced, startup-like environment, collaborate with teammates in Taiwan and other global regions, and engage directly with customers through demos, market visits, and feedback sessions to deeply understand pain points and unmet needs.
Responsibilities:
  • Leads Gaming Display Portfolio Planning from product definition through Plan of Record, ensuring products are clearly defined and strategically aligned before handoff to the execution team.
  • Defines product concepts, feature sets, and specifications for Gaming Displays based on customer needs, market opportunities, competitive positioning, and business objectives.
  • Partners with category, engineering, sourcing, ODMs, and regional stakeholders to align on product direction, requirements, priorities, and feasibility throughout the planning process.
  • Integrates voice of the customer, market trends, technology roadmaps, and competitive insights into portfolio and product recommendations.
  • Develops and influences product and portfolio strategy for Gaming Displays, helping ensure the business participates in attractive segments with clear differentiation and winning propositions.
  • Identifies growth opportunities within the Gaming Displays category and contributes to plans that support the ambition to significantly grow and scale the business over the next three years.
  • Collaborates closely with ODM partners to shape product direction, evaluate new technologies, and ensure solutions align with both market needs and business goals.
  • Works with internal teams across regions, including teammates in Taiwan, to drive alignment, accelerate decision-making, and support effective global collaboration.
  • Partners with Category and broader cross-functional teams to ensure products are positioned to deliver customer value and strong market competitiveness.
  • Supports go-to-market planning by ensuring product intent, customer value proposition, and key differentiators are clearly defined before transition to execution.
  • Engages directly with customers and partners to gather feedback, understand pain points, validate concepts, and strengthen product direction.
  • Represents the business in customer-facing interactions, including product demos, customer visits, and market engagement activities, with some travel expected.
  • Helps identify and develop strategic partnership opportunities, including opportunities to collaborate with ecosystem leaders and relevant gaming brands.
  • Applies advanced subject matter expertise, leads complex initiatives, and exercises independent judgment in shaping product plans and resolving business issues.
  • Builds strong internal and external relationships and provides leadership, guidance, and mentoring across the broader team.

Why join this role
Gaming Displays is one of the most exciting segments in the Display portfolio, where innovation moves quickly and customers have high expectations for performance, immersion, and design. This role offers the opportunity to help define the next generation of products in a category where technology leadership matters.
You will be part of a small, agile team with bold growth ambitions and meaningful visibility across the organization. The role combines strategy, customer engagement, innovation, and global collaboration - including partnership with teammates in Taiwan, ODMs, and customers directly in the market. It is ideal for someone who enjoys shaping products early, influencing decisions at a leadership level, and working in a fast-paced environment with startup-like energy and speed.
Education & Experience Recommended
  • Four-year or Graduate Degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or any other related discipline, or commensurate work experience or demonstrated competence.
  • 7+ years of work experience, preferably in product planning, product management, product design, portfolio strategy, or a related field.
