Job description

The Rockford Rivets are actively seeking qualified individuals to join our team as Ticket Sales Interns for the 2026 season at Rivets Stadium. In this role, you will play a vital part in managing the box office, contributing to the overall fan experience. You will also assist in pre and post-game ballpark cleanup and support various external events. Ticket Interns are integral to ensuring an exceptional Rockford Rivets fan experience. This summer internship program runs from early May to late August, requiring interns to be available for all home games (36) and any additional events assigned throughout the season. Ticket Sales interns will report directly to the Assistant General Manager.
Responsibilities:
  • Enter data and customer information into the ticketing system/CRM.
  • Conduct cold-calling and lead generation with local businesses and organizations regarding ticket purchases for Rivets games.
  • Assist in creating ticket promotions and special events.
  • Handle general ticket sales.
  • Fulfill ticket orders.
  • Print and deliver group tickets.
  • Provide general fan assistance and customer service.
  • Generate reports to analyze ticket usage and needs.
  • Utilize the ticket system to scan tickets and build reports.
  • Serve as a liaison to all fans.
  • Work as game day staff at an information booth.

Required Skills:
  • Must be a current college student (undergraduate or graduate).
