Job description

Shape the Future of Cybersecurity at Forescout
Every day cyberattacks threaten to disrupt hospitals, power grids, financial systems, and the infrastructure we all depend on. At Forescout, we build defenses that help keep civilization running smoothly in an increasingly connected world.
For more than 25 years, Fortune 100 organizations, government agencies, and large enterprises have trusted Forescout as their foundation to manage cyber risk, ensure compliance, and mitigate threats. From power grids and healthcare systems to financial networks and transportation hubs, Forescout protects the critical infrastructure of our modern world.
Role Summary
The Senior Workforce Fraud Manager is responsible for building and leading Forescout's approach to detecting, preventing, investigating, and mitigating workforce-related fraud risk across the employee and contingent labor lifecycle. This experienced individual contributor partners closely with Human Resources, Legal, Talent Acquisition, Information Security, IT, Employee Success, and business leaders to identify and resolve potential fraud indicators, including candidate identity concerns, falsified credentials, employment verification discrepancies, time or access misuse, policy violations, and other suspicious workforce activity. The role requires sound judgment, strong investigative discipline, data-driven risk assessment, high confidentiality, and the ability to translate findings into practical process improvements and internal controls.
What You Will Do
  • Develop, maintain, and improve workforce fraud prevention strategies, policies, procedures, investigation protocols, and escalation pathways aligned to Forescout's cybersecurity and workforce integrity objectives.
  • Use data analytics, case management information, identity-verification signals, screening outcomes, recruiting indicators, and other lawful sources to identify patterns, anomalies, and workforce fraud trends.
  • Conduct objective investigations of suspected workforce fraud involving employees, candidates, contractors, or contingent workers, including evidence gathering, interviews, documentation review, and stakeholder coordination.
  • Partner with Human Resources, Legal, Talent Acquisition, Information Security, IT, Employee Success, and business leaders to assess allegations, determine next steps, and ensure consistent, confidential handling.
  • Prepare clear investigative summaries, findings, risk assessments, and recommendations for HR, Legal, Information Security, and senior leadership audiences.
  • Monitor workforce fraud trends and recommend improvements to recruiting, onboarding, verification, access governance, and employment lifecycle controls.
  • Develop training, guidance, and practical tools to help recruiters, HRBPs, managers, and cross-functional partners recognize fraud indicators, follow escalation protocols, and support secure workforce practices, including risk-designated recruiting and onboarding controls.

What You Bring to Forescout
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.
  • 6+ years of investigative, audit, compliance, employee relations, fraud risk, security, or related experience, preferably involving workforce, employment, candidate, contractor, insider threat, or identity matters.
  • Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE) designation is strongly preferred; relevant certifications in investigations, compliance, security, privacy, HR, or risk management are also valued.
  • Strong investigative planning, interviewing, evidence review, documentation, case management, and report-writing skills, with the ability to make objective, fact-based recommendations.
  • Excellent executive communication skills, including the ability to summarize complex matters clearly and appropriately for HR, Legal, Information Security, and leadership audiences.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to identify risk patterns, connect signals across systems or processes, and recommend practical control improvements.
  • Working knowledge of employment law, privacy, data protection, employee relations, workplace investigations, and fraud prevention in global or multi-jurisdictional environments, with the highest level of ethics, discretion, professionalism, and confidentiality.

What Forescout Offers You
  • Competitive compensation and benefits, including health care premium coverage, company-paid employee life and disability insurance premiums, a 401(k) match, generous flexible time off for U.S. employees, voluntary life, accident, and critical illness insurance options, employee assistance program, maternity and parental bonding leave, and more.
  • A collaborative, innovative environment where you can help advance global security while working with leading technology.
  • Leadership teams that take ownership of team growth, actively supporting development, career progression, and opportunities for employees to do their best work.

Our Mission and Values
Our Mission: Continuously identify, protect, and ensure the compliance of all cyber assets across the modern organization.

At Forescout, we are "Cyber Obsessed". As a global cybersecurity company, we are committed to maintaining a secure environment for our customers, employees, and business operations. To support these efforts, candidates may be asked to complete job-related pre-employment screening and verification processes, to the extent permitted by applicable law. Forescout conducts these processes in accordance with applicable laws and regulations, including privacy and data protection requirements, and obtains any required notices, authorizations, or consents before conducting such screenings.
Notice Regarding the Use of Artificial Intelligence in Recruitment
