Job description

It is the responsibility of the Revenue Audit Manager to monitor and guide the Audit clerks in performing

daily revenue audits. Review the clerks’ analyses and/or reports prepared in summarizing and

classifying revenue transactions for the preparation of the management daily operating report and

journal entries for recording in the general ledger.

· Directly supervise audit staff in their performance of audit procedures and compilation of

revenue data. Responsible for reviewing MICS requirements completed in Gaming Revenue

Audit and retraining staff where needed,

· Establish/modify accounting staff daily schedules.

· Trains accounting clerks and evaluate accounting clerks’ job performance.

· Review audit schedules weekly for accuracy ensuring that schedules at month end are

reconciled and supported by the source information.

· Prepare journal entries for Gaming, Hotel, and F&B operations.

· Work closely with gaming regulators and internal auditors, retrieving records requested. The

responses to the exceptions and assists departments in their response duties as needed.

· File 1042’s and W2G withholding taxes and record 1099 awards.

· Perform Audit Clerk functions as necessary and the ability to work irregular hours as needed.

· Investigate or research specific assigned projects as well as other miscellaneous duties as

assigned.

· Coordinate and facilitate GCB Audits.

 

Required:

· Three years of progressive gaming experience.

· Three years of gaming audit, internal audit, or compliance experience within a gaming

environment.

· Strong knowledge of Nevada Gaming Control Board MICS.

· Ability to manage employees, training, and coaching skills with evidence of developing

exceptionally motivated teams.

· Excellent analytical, problem solving, administrative, multi-tasking organization and prioritization

skills.

· Must possess excellent communications skills.

· Ability to work independently and cohesively, consistently producing quality results.

· Strong computer skills, knowledge of Aristocrat, Micros, Oasis a plus.

· Nevada Gaming card.

· Minimum age requirement is 21.

Education:

· Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience i.e. extensive experience and knowledge of gaming revenue auditing, accounting controls and procedures, hotel, and food & beverage auditing
