Job description

Job Title: Games Associate

Job Summary: The Games Associate is responsible for safely operating assigned game stations while creating a fun, energetic, and engaging experience for guests. This role actively promotes and sells games to drive revenue and achieve daily per-capita sales goals. Games Associates serve as enthusiastic hosts, ensuring fair play, excellent guest service, and adherence to all cash handling and safety procedures.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Maintain a positive, professional, and cooperative attitude toward guests and team members.
  • Actively promote and "sell" assigned games to encourage guest participation.
  • Host and engage guests during gameplay to create a memorable experience.
  • Meet or exceed daily per-capita sales goals.
  • Operate only the games for which training has been completed.
  • Follow all cash handling procedures accurately and responsibly.
  • Balance and count cash drawers at the beginning and end of each shift.
  • Ensure park employees do not participate in games of skill, whether on or off duty.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and visually appealing work area.
  • Promptly communicate concerns, guest issues, or lost-and-found matters to the Games Supervisor.
  • Perform other duties as assigned to support park operations.

Education & Experience:

  • Currently attending high school (required) or possess a high school diploma or GED (preferred).
  • No prior experience required; training will be provided.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

  • Outgoing, energetic, and engaging personality.
  • Strong verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Sales-oriented mindset with the ability to motivate guest participation.
  • Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks with minimal supervision.
  • Willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment.

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to lift, push, pull, and carry up to 25 lbs. consistently.
  • Frequent bending, twisting, stretching, stooping, and reaching overhead.
  • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods on hard or uneven surfaces.
  • Ability to work flexible and varying hours, including weekends and holidays.
  • Comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions and temperatures.

Safety Expectations:

  • Promote and practice safe work habits at all times.
  • Properly use required personal protective equipment (PPE).
  • Comply with all company, local, state, and federal safety regulations.
