Our RF Team is seeking a talented, experienced, and highly motivated individual to support the development of RF Transceiver boards and Antennas for Tarana’s next-generation wireless access products operating in the 3–7 GHz frequency bands.

In this role, you will be responsible for prototype validation, RF performance testing, troubleshooting units, and production support for RF assemblies.

 

What you’ll be doing: 

  • Test and optimize antenna s-parameters and pattern data to meet system requirements.
  • Test RF transceiver subsystems to characterize all parameters over temperature.
  • Troubleshoot RF subsystems to find and resolve the root cause of failed parameters.
  • Analyze test data and write test reports.
  • Understanding of passive components, amplifiers, and filters.
  • Ability to read and draw schematics, familiarity with EDA tools.
  • Ability to understand Python and Linux. 
What You'll Need: 
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering 
  • 2-5 years related RF test experience
  • Experience testing antennas and RF subsystems in 3 to 7 GHz frequency bands
  • Must have a good understanding of RF test parameters and test methods
  • Must have experience working with RF design engineers to test their designs
  • “Hands-on” experience in the lab, testing boards and developing test routines
  • Experience with RF test equipment: Signal Generators, Network Analyzers, Spectrum Analyzers and Power Meters 
  • Must have excellent analytical, troubleshooting and problem solving skills
  • Must have good software skills to control test equipment as well as devices under test
  • Understanding of passive components, amplifiers and filters
  • Ability to read and draw schematics, familiarity with EDA tools
  • Ability to understand Python and Linux
  • Must be a positive team player with excellent communication skills, both verbal and written

Compensation will be determined based on several factors including, but not limited to: skill set, years of experience and the employee’s geographic location.
