We are looking for a passionate member to join our Engineering Team in GeForce NOW as a Senior Systems Software Engineer. In this role, you will play a significant part in crafting and guiding the future of Cloud Gaming. GeForce NOW is NVIDIA's cloud-based game streaming service, delivering real-time gameplay straight from the cloud to your laptop, desktop, Mac, SHIELD TV, iPhone, iPad, and Android devices. Connect to your store accounts and stream your own library of games, or play your favorite free-to-play games.

What you'll be doing:

You will be crafting RESTful cloud services and frameworks to create GeForce NOW. These services require low latency and high availability to support millions of gamers.

  • Design, build, and implement scalable cloud-based systems for SaaS/PaaS.

  • Help drive the underlying technology stack.

  • Work closely with other teams on new products or features/improvements of existing products.

  • Drive performance tuning and automation.

  • Support, maintain, and document software functionality.

What we need to see:

  • BS or MS in Computer Science or equivalent program from an accredited University/College (or equivalent experience)

  • 12+ years of hands-on software engineering or equivalent experience;

  • Extensive experience programming with Go and/or Java.

  • Demonstrate understanding of cloud design in the areas of virtualization and global infrastructure, distributed systems, load balancing, and security.

  • Experience with Infrastructure as Code (TF, CDK)

  • Background with Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery.

  • Experience with AWS (ECS, EKS, SNS, SQS, DynamoDB, etc.)

  • Excellent interpersonal and written communication skills are required.

  • Demonstrate delivery of complex projects in previous roles.

  • Background with internet-scale services.

  • Experience with load testing frameworks.
