Job description

Director, Brand Development, Game Show Group

The Director of Brand Development, Game Show Group is responsible for leading the strategic development, management, and building of brands under the Sony Pictures Television Game Show Group umbrella. These brands include iconic shows such as Wheel of Fortune and Jeopardy!, and the linear cable network, Game Show Network. This role oversees end-to-end strategy and builds brand partnerships, drives brand integrity and innovation, and ensures the business meets or exceeds financial targets.

This is a high-impact, highly visible role that blends strategic planning, creative brand development, operational excellence, and exceptional partner management.

Responsibilities Brand Partnerships
  • Manage key existing partnerships and seek new opportunities and audiences
  • Leverage consumer insights and market data to strengthen brand presence and elevate consumer engagement
  • Steward the application of Wheel of Fortune, Jeopardy!, and other game show brands across a wide range of partnerships
  • Ensure brand consistency, quality, and compliance across all brand executions
Financial Management
  • Drive revenue performance across categories through effective deal structures and partner management
  • Ensure accurate financial forecasting, revenue tracking, and performance evaluation with partners
Team Leadership
  • Lead and mentor a Senior Manager
  • Set clear, challenging objectives and guide the team toward achieving strategic and operational goals
  • Provide ongoing coaching, performance evaluation, and development to nurture future leaders
Additional Role Expectations
  • Serve as a strong brand champion for Wheel of Fortune, Jeopardy!, Game Show Network, and any other brand within the broader Game Show Group portfolio—advocating for brand integrity, championing creative excellence, and inspiring cross-functional teams to bring the shows to life in meaningful ways
  • Partner closely with the Senior Vice President who oversees the Game Show Group business to support program execution, stakeholder engagement, and long-term strategic planning
  • Operate as both a strategist and a hands-on operator—able to navigate a complex, fast-paced environment while building scalable processes and managing multiple high-profile partnerships
  • Demonstrate exceptional collaboration skills and a team-first mindset, working effectively across all levels of the organization, from senior leadership to cross-functional partners and external stakeholders
  • Bring a blend of strong client management, creative vision, strategic insight, and franchise development expertise to a highly visible, high-impact role
