Job description

About the SUB:

Position Summary: 
Under the direct supervision of the Associate Director of Business Operations, the qualified candidate will support the day-to-day operations of Louie's Lounge in the SUB.  This includes assisting guests with checking out equipment and games, managing events and tournaments, answering general questions, and promoting a fun environment for students. All duties will be performed in a friendly, professional, and courteous manner at all times. This role will plan and execute events and tournaments (minimum of 2 per semester), and work with the Marketing Assistant to request any marketing media.  
Duties and Responsibilities: 
1.         Run the rental counter. 
2.         Relay advertisement and social media needs to the Marketing Assistant. 
3.         Conduct inventory of supplies. 
4.         Collaborate with various constituents to plan and execute tournaments. 
5.         Attend Louie's Lounge Team meetings. 
6.         Participate in training and workshops as made available. 
7.         Complete regular walkthroughs of the space. Maintain the cleanliness of space, billiards tables, etc. 
8.       Respond to the various needs and situations that arise and contact the appropriate personnel. 
9.       May perform miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned. 
10.       Position requires cross training & general support functions as indicated.
