Coffman Engineers is seeking a Project Manager with 7-10 years of experience to assist our team in defining a project, developing a set of tasks to accomplish the project, coordinating and monitoring the work and team involved to complete the tasks, managing budget and schedule, and related tasks to deliver a final product in scope, on time, and within budget. The successful candidate will be enthusiastic, have a desire to work and grow with a multi-discipline engineering team, and successfully work with others to achieve goals.
What you will be responsible for:
  • Supervising and managing small to medium-sized multidiscipline design or construction projects, with and without supervision. Tracking project scope, schedule, and budget to adhere to project requirements.
  • Maintaining favorable business relationships with clients, consultants, and contractors.
  • Making routine project decisions regarding design direction and contracts.
  • Involvement in client, civic, or professional groups.
  • Understanding budget, schedule, and quality aspects as related to design and construction projects.
  • Verbal and written communication with internal and external team members.
  • Other duties as may be assigned.

Qualifications
  • BS degree in engineering, architecture, construction management, or related science required.
  • Minimum of experience of 7-10 years in direct project management roles preferred. Applicants with less experience may be considered depending on prior work history.
  • Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Possess computer skills necessary for daily activities including email, word processing, spreadsheets, and graphics. A working knowledge of computer-aided drafting and Revit is helpful but not required.
  • Able to multi-task and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
  • Possess strong critical thinking, organizational, and analytical abilities.
  • Able to maintain positive working relationships with internal and external customers.

Expected annual salary of $80,000 - $110,000.
