As a Junior Camp Counselor, you’ll work alongside experienced staff to lead games, support activities, and keep campers engaged all day long. Position Summary

Junior Camp Counselors assist Camp Counselors with daily group activities including sports, games, arts & crafts, swimming, and more. They help keep campers engaged, support group management, and ensure a fun and safe environment.

  • Assist Camp Counselors with supervising and engaging campers throughout the day.
  • Encourage campers to participate and have fun in all activities.
  • Be a positive role model for campers and represent the YMCA in a professional and friendly way.
  • Support inclusion and teamwork among all campers.
  • Help maintain camp spaces, equipment, and cleanliness.
