What You'll Do
Epic Games is seeking a highly strategic, culturally fluent, and operationally rigorous Influencer Marketing Director to lead creator and talent partnerships across Fortnite. This role will shape how creators, streamers, athletes, musicians, entertainers, and their communities connect with Fortnite through major launches, live-service moments, partnerships, and creator campaigns.
The ideal candidate combines deep fluency in the Fortnite creator ecosystem with strong strategic judgment, communication skills, and the ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced, high-volume environment. This person should understand both gaming culture and broader entertainment ecosystems, and be equally comfortable building creator strategy, managing high-profile talent relationships, and navigating complex cross-functional initiatives.
In this role, you will
  • Develop and lead creator and influencer strategies tied to Fortnite launches, partnerships, live-service beats, and major campaigns
  • Translate brand and business objectives into measurable creator programs that drive audience engagement, conversation, and commercial impact
  • Build and manage relationships with key gaming creators, streamers, athletes, entertainers, agents, and talent representatives across multiple verticals
  • Lead high-profile creator and talent integrations from planning through execution, including negotiations, hospitality, experiential activations, and content coordination
  • Present creator strategies, talent recommendations, and campaign plans clearly and concisely to senior leadership
  • Partner cross-functionally across Paid Media, Brand Marketing, Competitive, IP Partnerships teams and external partners to deliver cohesive global campaigns
  • Manage agency partners and oversee campaign execution to ensure work meets Epic's creative, operational, and business standards
  • Operate effectively across multiple high-visibility initiatives simultaneously while navigating compressed timelines, shifting priorities, and fast-moving launch environments
What we're looking for
  • 8+ years of experience in influencer marketing, creator partnerships, talent relations, or cultural marketing within gaming, entertainment, sports, music, or adjacent industries
  • Deep understanding of Fortnite, gaming creators, livestream culture, and the broader creator ecosystem across Twitch, YouTube, TikTok, Instagram, and X
  • Proven experience managing high-profile creator or celebrity partnerships, including negotiations, experiential activations, hospitality, and complex partner coordination
  • Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to deliver concise strategic recommendations to senior stakeholders
  • Experience operating effectively in fast-paced, high-volume environments with multiple concurrent launches and evolving priorities
  • Strong cross-functional collaboration skills and the ability to influence teams and stakeholders within highly matrixed organizations
  • Experience managing agency partners, external vendors, and regional campaign execution across global markets
