About Our Internship Program
The Colorado Eagles are committed to providing college students with a one-of-a-kind internship program that will prepare you for your future career in the sports industry. With the Eagles, you will be able to learn from some of the best in the industry and strengthen your skills and knowledge in sports management. Interns will have the opportunity to work closely with Eagles front office staff members and learn how a professional team operates through a multitude of real-life tasks and situations.
How To Make Our Team
Our interns bring a strong work ethic and excellent communication skills. Working in sports requires a large time commitment so we expect that all interns will be available for 90% of games and a good portion of community appearances and events. Games and events can fall on nights, weekends, and/or holidays, and we ask that you understand this before applying. We require that all interns have a reliable form of transportation to and from games and community events and maintain a professional appearance when working for the Eagles.

Through the hard work of ticketing and marketing departments, fans come in the doors but game operations are what makes them want to stay and decide to come back. If you enjoy entertaining people and coming up with new and creative ideas to make fans excited this is the department for you.
What You Will Gain from Us

Your Responsibilities
  • Assist in the development and execution of theme night ideas and promotions.
  • Organize and execute in-game contests and promotions.
  • Act as a liaison to performance groups including anthem singers, color guards, and intermission acts.
  • Assist with the tear-down or changeover preparation for the next games.
  • Research and present new ideas for promotions, intermission games, or in-game entertainment.
  • Assist with offsite events such as watch parties or community appearances.
  • Work closely with the Director of Game Operations to write game scripts and plan out theme nights.
  • Other duties as assigned by the Director of Game Operations.

Minimum Qualifications
  • Must be currently enrolled in college and able to receive school credit.
  • Ability to walk and stand for extended periods of time and lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
  • Ability to work a varied schedule to include weekends, nights, and holidays as needed.
  • Comfortable in front of large crowds.
