Position Summary

Anne Arundel Community College's athletic department is seeking temporary employees to fulfill a variety of responsibilities related to game day functions of our eleven sports programs.

Job Duties and Responsibilities

Live Stream Filmer - Film game action for AACC Athletics Live streams on YouTube and assist with production through Open Broadcast Software
Statistician - Compile live, in-game statistics for various sports, including, soccer, basketball, baseball, softball, and lacrosse. Enter statistics, and/or be a spotter for live entry personnel.
Clock/Scoreboard Operator - Manage the operations of the game clock, shot clock, and/or scoreboard for various sports, including, soccer, basketball, volleyball, baseball, softball, and lacrosse.
Public Address Announcing - Announce lineups and game action for fans.
Line Judging - Assist volleyball officials as out of bounds line judges in volleyball matches.
Ball Runner - Assist with pace of play in soccer and volleyball by returning out of bounds game balls back into the game.
Grounds Crew - Prepare fields and courts for games by setting up equipment and electronics. Breakdown fields following completion of contests and return equipment and electronics to proper storage spaces.
Employees are not required to perform all functions and will be contacted for availability on a weekly basis.
Other duties as assigned by the Coordinator of Athletics

Required Qualifications:

Ability to work a flexible schedule, including some nights and weekends to accommodate the needs of the department.
Must act and dress professionally while on the campus of AACC and interacting with the college community.
Must possess excellent written and oral communication skills, and familiarity with intercollegiate sports teams, and terminology
Ability to deal tactfully with faculty, staff, students, and the public
