Job description

Software Engineer – C++, Unreal Engine (Hybrid-Orlando, FL)

We are seeking a Software Engineer to join a leading global aerospace company. In this role, you will be responsible for designing and developing solutions using game engine technology, with a focus on Unreal Engine, and leveraging strong proficiency in C++ programming.

This is a 6-month contract (extensions likely), 40-hour-per-week (4-day 10-hour shifts per week) role, this is a Hybrid role in Orlando, FL.

This is a W-2 role as a Stage 4 Solutions employee. Health benefits and a 401K are offered.

Responsibilities:

  • Plans, conducts, and coordinates software development activities, designing, developing, documenting, testing, and debugging software that contains logical and mathematical solutions to business/mission problems or questions in computer language for solutions by means of data processing equipment.
  • Applies the appropriate standards, processes, procedures, and tools throughout the development life cycle, utilizing knowledge of comp,uter hardware and software, subject matter to be programmed in business/mission applications, information processing techniques used, and information gathered from system users to develop software.
  • Candidate will also have experience with game engine technology, specifically Unreal Engine, and proficiency in C++ programming language, leveraging these skills to design, develop, and implement software solutions.
  • Corrects program errors, prepares operating instructions, compiles documentation of program development, and analyzes system capabilities to resolve questions of program intent, output requirements, input data acquisition, programming techniques, and controls, ensuring software standards are met.

Requirements:

  • 4+ years of experience in C++ Programming.
  • Experience with Unreal Engine Development.
  • Full Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) – Designing, developing, testing, debugging, documenting, and maintaining software.
  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • Must be a U.S. citizen
