Job Overview
Reporting to the Manager of Engineering Operations, the Technical Project Manager will manage planning, development, and delivery of AGS projects and collaborate with Project and Program Managers to deliver products with dependencies across teams.ย  ย The Senior Technical Project Manager will also mentor other Technical Project managers on the Engineering Operations team.

Responsibilities
  • Take high-level directives and work with stakeholders to define product requirements
  • Manage software development projects from planning through approval and deployment ready
  • Work with Program and Project Managers to deliver complete products including Hardware, Software and Games
  • Proactively identify, track, and mitigate risks/impacts
  • Coordinate dependencies across internal and external development teams
  • Communication of project status tailored to various audiencesโ€™ required level of detail
  • Optimization of project schedule and resource allocation
  • Create metrics measuring effectiveness of project planning, development, and PM process
  • Facilitate decisions, track action items, and maintain a change log
  • Support and implement continuous improvement

Skills/Requirements
  • 8 + years of experience as a Project Manager required
  • Bachelor or Master of Science degree preferredย 
  • Expert analytical and technology skills
  • Superior attention to detail with strong communication skills (verbal and written) and organizational skills
  • Ability to coach, mentor and guide other project managers
  • Ability to develop strong relationships with technology development teams
  • Able to focus on strategic goals and objectives while dealing tactically with operational issues
  • Willingness to learn about casino industry, current market and technology trends
  • Expert project management experience and skill set inclusive of the following areas โ€“ project planning and development, scope management, schedule development and management, risk management, issue management, change management and cost management
  • Experienced professional leading execution of Project Plans in a fast-paced, technology driven product development environment
  • Expert gathering technical requirements and change management
  • Expert working on and leading cross-functional projects
  • Expert working with and leading project resources not under direct control (both external and internal)
  • Expert leading the delivery ofย products from design & development teams to internal or external production teams
  • Expert managing multiple cross-functional projects concurrentlyย 
  • Strong knowledge of Agile and waterfall software development methodologies and associated tools
  • Proven ability to leverage AI productivity tools - e.g., Copilot, ChatGPT - to get better work done faster. Uses these tools regularly to elevate output quality, reduce turnaround time, and bring sharper thinking to complex tasks. Approaches AI as a force multiplier, developing new skills and continuously finding new ways to integrate evolving capabilities into existing workflows.
  • PMP Certification and Agile Scrum Certification preferred
