Job Overview
The Field Service Technician I is responsible for the service, installation, conversion, upgrade and preventative maintenance of all AGS gaming equipment. This is an entry-level position and does not work standard, set hours as work activities may occur throughout a 24-hour day, 7 days a week, including holidays. This position reports to the Regional Service Manager or Field Service Supervisor.
Responsibilities
- Performs preventative maintenance and general maintenance on AGS gaming equipment
- Completes all reports and paperwork in a timely manner
- Performs technical procedures on both slot machine and table game equipment
- Troubleshoots and repairs service incidents in a timely manner and escalates as necessary
- Keeps parts inventory current
- Participates in a weekly on-call rotation with other technicians in territory
- Provides "best in the business" customer service
- Adheres to all safety guidelines during work hours, as set forth by AGS
Skills/Requirements
- High School diploma or GED required
- Must be at least 21 years' old
- Current driver's license and vehicle insurance is mandatory
- Entry level, gaming experience is not necessary, but is a plus
- Must have 2 years' experience in electronics and/or computer networking
- Requirement to obtain licensing approval by tribal and/or state gaming regulators
- Basic computer skills required; May need to use all tools from Microsoft Office suite (primarily Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Understands basic AC/DC electronics
- Basic understanding of computer networking
- Sound problem-solving skills, organizational skills and attention to detail
- Positive attitude, teamwork mentality
- A flexible schedule may be required, with the ability to work early mornings, nights, weekends, and holidays as needed
