Job Description:

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Collaborate with business and technical teams to define and deliver AI-driven solutions
  • Translate business needs into actionable AI strategies and technical approaches
  • Support leadership by providing guidance that helps engineering teams scale effectively
  • Act as a subject matter expert, contributing to AI training, playbooks, and knowledge-sharing initiatives
  • Ensure AI systems follow governance, compliance, and auditability standards
  • Lead technical design of AI agents and support development of RAG pipelines across data platforms such as Databricks, Azure SQL, and Salesforce
  • Provide technical direction for deploying AI applications in Azure to ensure efficiency and scalability
  • Support integration of AI agents into enterprise systems and APIs to enable automation
  • Ensure deployment and reliability of AI solutions through standardized workflows and CI/CD practices
  • Provide technical mentorship and day-to-day guidance to junior AI engineers, including code reviews, design feedback, and best practices.
  • Develop and deliver AI training materials and best practices, and enable "train-the-trainer" models to scale AI knowledge across technical and business teams.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, AI/ML, or related field
  • 7+ years of experience in AI engineering, machine learning, or software development with deployed AI solutions
  • Strong Python skills for AI/ML, including APIs, testing, and CI/CD pipelines
  • Experience with ML frameworks (scikit-learn, TensorFlow, PyTorch, Hugging Face)
  • Hands-on with Azure services (Functions, Container Apps, SQL, Blob)
  • Hands-on with Data Engineering services (Databricks, data lakes/warehouses)
  • Knowledge of AI governance, responsible AI practices, and compliance standards
  • Experience integrating enterprise systems with AI platforms (Salesforce, NetSuite, REST/GraphQL APIs)
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills, able to explain AI to varied audiences
  • Preferred: Experience with agent frameworks and vector databases
  • Preferred: Familiarity with evaluation and observability tools

Base Pay Range:

$135,000-160,000/yr

This range represents the low and high end of the anticipated base salary range for this position. The base salary will depend on a number of factors such as: qualifications, experience level, and skillset.
