POSITION SUMMARY
Mecklenburg County Park and Recreation is excited to welcome a High School Intern to the team at Ivory/Baker Recreation Center. This temporary, 40-hour per week position will assist with the operations of summer day camps for youth and/or teens. The selected candidate will provide direct supervision of campers and assist in planning and directing camp activities such as arts and crafts, athletics, games, aquatics, field trips, etc. In addition, the incumbent may also participate in membership promotions, communicate facility policies to patrons and overall customer service management of the facility. The selected candidate will work Monday through Friday between the hours of 7:45am and 5:30pm. Candidates must be at least 16 years of age to be considered.
