We're looking for a Director of Cage Operations who is a strategic leader, trusted financial steward, and champion of compliance. In this role, you'll oversee all Cage and Count operations, ensuring the highest standards of accuracy, security, guest service, and regulatory compliance. You will lead a team responsible for safeguarding company assets, delivering exceptional service, and supporting the property's overall success.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage all Cage and Count operations to ensure efficiency, accuracy, and compliance
  • Develop and manage departmental budgets, monitoring expenses and operational performance
  • Ensure compliance with Kansas Gaming Regulations, Title 31 requirements, the Responsible Gambling Plan, and the Voluntary Exclusion Program
  • Oversee reporting related to cash transactions, chip exchanges, check cashing, overages, shortages, and other financial activities
  • Safeguard company assets by maintaining proper bankroll levels, controlling credit instruments, and enforcing security procedures
  • Direct investigations into discrepancies, variances, shortages, and other operational concerns
  • Implement and enforce policies, procedures, internal controls, and departmental standards
  • Review and approve check-cashing privileges and assist in resolving guest concerns and disputes within the Cage
  • Recruit, interview, hire, train, coach, develop, evaluate, and retain a high-performing Cage Operations team
  • Maintain accurate training records and ensure team members remain current on all required certifications and compliance training
  • Review and reconcile operational records, reports, forms, and stored data to ensure accuracy and accountability
  • Inventory and inspect Cage, Main Bank, Count Room equipment, and facilities, submitting work requests as necessary
  • Promote Players Club membership enrollment and support property-wide guest engagement initiatives
  • Assist with the safety and security of guests, Team Members, and company assets
  • Maintain strong awareness of all marketing promotions, special events, and property activities
  • Champion The Maverick Way by fostering a culture of accountability, teamwork, integrity, and exceptional guest service
