Job description

Calling all college undergraduate and graduate students seeking real-world sports industry experience! We want you here in Asheboro for a hands-on internship that provides you with a tremendous opportunity to experience summer baseball with a first class organization.
Our interns are the heart and soul of an amazing fan experience for ZooKeeper fans here in Asheboro. While learning the many facets of summer baseball, our interns will positively impact the Asheboro community, our unwavering fanbase, our host families, and partners. As an intern, you will develop and take ownership in projects throughout the season and bring them to life with our team of interns and full-time staff!
Who do we want? We want creative, energetic, and driven people to invigorate our amazing team and community! This opportunity will help you advance your career in sports broadcasting and sports photography/videography.
Qualified ZooKeeper interns will engage in many tasks over the course of the season. You will assist in all areas of pre-game and game-day operations. Our different areas of internship opportunities include but are not limited to:
  • Sports Broadcasting
  • Photography/Videography
  • Music and Audio Production
  • On Field Entertainment
  • Gameday Operations
    • Merchandise Sales
    • On-field Entertainment Assistance
    • Ticket Sales
    • Food and Beverage

To qualify and join this exciting team atmosphere, interns must have at least a 3.0GPA and submit a letter of recommendation from a current or former professor.
This internship is only available to college-level students, both undergraduate and graduate students, who are looking for a college credit internship. The internship is on-site in Asheboro, NC.
  • Summer Term: May 17th through August 13th, 2026.
