Our Platform Audio team seeks an enthusiastic software engineer who can build and implement technology used for 3D audioandhardware DSPacceleration.Your contributionswilldirectlyaffect both our console users and game developers.If this is you, please apply!

Responsibilities:

  • Systemslevel multi-threaded programmingand debugging using C/C++
  • ImplementDSP algorithms on embeddedaudio hardware accelerators
  • Design and implementnew features of the audio API for our platform SDK
  • Collaborate with international counterparts to contribute to thedesign,development,and evaluationof audioalgorithmsandAPIs

Qualifications:

  • Four years or more of embedded systems programming usingC/C++
  • Experienceasaprimarycontributorinasimilarfield(audio, acoustics,DSP)
  • Experience withlow-level system architectureconceptssuchas memory mapping, DMA,multi-threading, assembly code
  • Proficient withstandard software development tools, source control, and issue tracking
  • Experience withSIMDvectorizationand optimizations for real-time performance
  • Experience profilingand debugging performance bottlenecks in audio systems
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent

Nice to have:

  • Competencyin digital signal processing (sampling,filtering,FFT, convolution)
  • Prior exposureto game audio/audiomiddleware
  • Experience withGPU development
  • Knowledge inpsychoacoustics and 3D audio(HRTFs, object-based audio)

Please note that the base pay range may vary in line with our hybrid working policy and individual base pay will be determined based on job-related factors which may include knowledge, skills, experience, and location.
