Responsibilities
  • Lead product management and cross-functional pod execution on Wordscapes.
  • Take responsibility for the growth of the game, with a focus on improving new user retention.

  • Collaborate with studio stakeholders to define, design, and manage features that drive engagement, retention, and monetization.
  • Design and balance game economies to drive compelling player experiences, retention, and monetization.
  • Perform game analytics and translate player behavior and performance data into clear product decisions and priorities.
  • Develop data-backed hypotheses, define success metrics, and use test results to iterate, scale, or deprioritize initiatives.
  • Analyze competing games and provide relevant competitive insights and references.
  • Leverage liveops tools, A/B testing, local/push notifications, and other tools to optimize player experience and drive business objectives.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree (graduate degree preferred) in Economics, Statistics, Mathematics, Finance or related field.
  • 3+ years' experience in a game product management role.
  • Proven experience in increasing user retention.
  • Passion for creating innovative, fun, and compelling games.
  • Understanding and experience with free-to-play and other mobile game business and monetization models.
  • Proactive and self-directed, with a track record of identifying opportunities and driving them forward without waiting for direction.
  • Highly data-driven, with the ability to develop hypotheses, analyze player and game performance, and translate insights into product decisions.
  • Experience with A/B and multivariate testing.
  • Strong prioritization and decision-making skills, with the ability to focus teams on the highest-impact opportunities.
  • Strong critical thinking, attention to detail, and communication skills.
  • Ability to travel to the Dallas office 3-4 times per year.
