Overview
Job Summary
Galapagos Federal Systems LLC is seeking a highly skilled Program Security - Operations Security (OPSEC) Analyst Level 3 to support the United States Space Force (USSF) and its critical space mission.
In this role, you will conduct OPSEC and vulnerability assessments, perform risk analyses, develop OPSEC plans, deliver training, monitor compliance, and prepare reports and briefings for leadership. You will collaborate with USSF stakeholders to identify risks, protect sensitive information, and support advanced test and training capabilities.
We're looking for a mission-focused professional with strong OPSEC expertise, analytical skills, and communication abilities who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is committed to advancing the USSF mission.
Key Responsibilities
The Program Security OPSEC Analyst will:
  • Conduct comprehensive OPSEC assessments and vulnerability analyses to identify critical information, indicators, threats, and operational risks
  • Develop, implement, and maintain OPSEC plans, including Critical Information and Indicators Lists (CIILs) and appropriate countermeasures
  • Evaluate operational procedures, communication systems, and information flows to identify vulnerabilities and recommend effective mitigation strategies
  • Perform risk and threat analyses to assess the potential impact of compromised information and recommend protective measures
  • Develop and deliver OPSEC training and awareness programs to reinforce policies, procedures, and security best practices
  • Monitor and assess organizational OPSEC and Information Operations (IO) compliance, identifying opportunities to strengthen overall security posture
  • Analyze intelligence products to identify emerging threats, vulnerabilities, indicators, and trends that may affect mission operations
  • Prepare clear, detailed reports, assessments, and executive-level briefings for senior leaders and key stakeholders
  • Collaborate across functional teams to integrate OPSEC requirements into operational planning, processes, and organizational practices
  • Support broader security activities, including risk management, crisis and consequence management, continuity planning, security architecture reviews, lessons learned, and enforcement of operational security standards

Requirements
Skills and Experience
The Program Security OPSEC Analyst must have:
  • Active Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility/access
  • 10+ years of experience as an OPSEC and/or Information Operations (IO) analyst or planner supporting DoD, defense, or other mission-critical operations
  • Extensive knowledge of OPSEC principles, vulnerability assessments, threat analysis, risk management, and countermeasure development
  • Demonstrated experience developing and managing OPSEC plans and Critical Information and Indicators Lists (CIILs) in support of DoD missions and critical functions
  • Experience assessing physical, cyber, mechanical, and structural security vulnerabilities and developing appropriate mitigation strategies
  • Knowledge of threat and vulnerability analysis, including anti-terrorism scenarios, modeling, and simulations
  • Experience with security and OPSEC program life cycle management, continuity planning, crisis response, and training performance analysis

The Program Security OPSEC Analyst must meet the following:

Security Clearance
Must be a U.S. Citizen. A high-level Department of Defense active security clearance may be required. Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to government information.
Physical Requirements
Work may involve sitting or standing for extended periods of time and typing and reading from a computer screen. The candidate must have enough mobility, including bending, reaching, and kneeling, to complete daily duties in a prompt and efficient manner and that may include lifting to thirty pounds, as necessary.
