School Telehealth Nurse (LPN)

???? About the Role

PanCare of Florida is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our School Telehealth Program. In this role, you will provide direct nursing care to students in a school-based setting while supporting telehealth visits conducted by licensed providers.

You’ll play a vital role in promoting a safe, healthy learning environment by delivering essential clinical services, assisting with virtual provider visits, and supporting students’ physical well-being throughout the school day. This position is ideal for nurses who are passionate about working with children, value collaboration, and want to make a meaningful impact in their community.

As part of a mission-driven organization, you’ll help ensure students have timely access to quality healthcare—right where they learn and grow.

What You’ll Do

In this role, you will:

  • Provide direct nursing care to students under the supervision of a Registered Nurse or licensed provider
  • Administer prescribed medications and treatments in accordance with nursing standards and provider orders
  • Assist providers during telehealth visits, exams, treatments, and clinical assessments
  • Prepare students for examinations, screenings, and telehealth encounters
  • Collect specimens including blood draws and urine samples, as appropriate
  • Observe, document, and report student conditions, responses to medications, and treatment outcomes
  • Maintain accurate, timely documentation in the Electronic Medical Record (EMR)
  • Support timely and efficient student flow throughout the school clinic
  • Prepare and maintain exam rooms, including stocking supplies and equipment
  • Arrange diagnostic testing and assist with referrals and follow-up documentation
  • Participate in CLIA, OSHA, and infection-control compliance activities
  • Monitor emergency kits, medical equipment, medications, and supplies
  • Maintain required UDS tracking and reporting documentation
  • Participate in professional development and required training
  • Perform other duties as assigned to support school health services


Education & Experience

  • Active Florida LPN licensure in accordance with Florida Statute 464
    —or— eligibility to practice nursing under FAC 210-8.22 or 8.27
  • Minimum of 1 year of clinical nursing experience preferred
  • Current BLS certification required
  • Experience working with pediatric populations or in school-based settings preferred
