The KLA Services team headquartered in Milpitas, CA is our service organization that consists of Service Sales and Marketing, Spares Supply Chain management, Field Operations, Engineering, Product Training, and Technical Support. The KLA Services organization partners with our field teams and customers in all business sectors to maintain the high performance and productivity of our products through a flexible portfolio of services. Our comprehensive services include: proactive management of tools to identify and improve performance; expertise in optics, image processing and motion control with worldwide service engineers, 24/7 technical support teams and knowledge management systems; and an extensive parts network to ensure worldwide availability of parts.

Job Description/Preferred Qualifications

Key Responsibilities

System Configuration & Feature Management

  • Management of service planning system data input connectivity, monitoring, and governance

  • Identify and document requirements for data feed and data management improvements and work with internal and external teams to complete successful development and implementation

  • Evaluate the impact of configuration changes on downstream planning, execution, and reporting, and communicate impacts clearly to team members

Business Analysis

  • Develop data quality monitoring metrics, reports, dashboards etc

  • Perform ad hoc analytics using a variety of tools and data sources

  • Define and/or develop analytical tools in Power BI and other data visualization technologies

  • See opportunities to improve data reporting landscape

Testing, Validation & Continuous Improvement

  • Develop and implement functional testing for configuration changes, new features, and improvements.

  • Validate planning outputs against business expectations and realworld results.

  • See opportunities to simplify configurations, standardize logic, and improve system usability and scalability.

Documentation & Communication

  • Maintain clear documentation of system configuration, planning logic, assumptions, and data develop

  • Support knowledge transfer, training, and enablement for business users and partners

  • Act as an authority for the service inventory planning system

Preferred Qualifications:

Education

  • Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering or related field

Experience

  • Database management and/or experience with large data-intensive enterprise systems

  • Experience with service inventory planning systems such as Prophet by Baxter Planning, PTC SPM or equivalent

  • Handson experience configuring or supporting forecasting, inventory optimization, or supply operations in a service environment

  • Experience translating business requirements into system logic, parameters, or configurations

Technical & Analytical Skills

  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret large data sets

  • Proficiency with Excel and analytical tools; experience with SQL, Power BI, Tableau, or similar tools is a plus

  • Understanding of inventory planning concepts such as demand forecasting, inventory optimization, service levels, transactional automation and reporting

Minimum Qualifications

  • Doctorate (Academic) Degree and 0 years related work experience; Master's Level Degree and related work experience of 3 years; Bachelor's Level Degree and related work experience of 5 years
