Job Summary:

Seeking a skilled MRI Technologist to perform diagnostic MRI procedures in a clinical setting. The technologist will work closely with physicians and clinical staff to ensure high-quality imaging and patient care.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform magnetic resonance imaging studies per physician/provider orders

  • Administer IV contrast and ensure patient safety during exams

  • Ensure technical accuracy and timeliness of all scans

  • Schedule and prepare patients for MRI exams

  • Participate in quality assurance/improvement of PACS system

  • Maintain accurate imaging records, including edits, charges, and logs

  • Stay updated on MRI technology and improvements

  • Communicate effectively with physicians, clinicians, and patients

  • Adjust care based on patient developmental level and learning needs


Required Skills & Experience:
  • Minimum 3–6 months of experience as an MRI Technologist

  • Basic nursing knowledge related to MRI (e.g., emergency procedures, sterile practices, CPR)

  • Experience in a clinical or academic setting

  • Strong communication, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills

  • Excellent customer service and ability to collaborate across teams


Education & Certifications:
  • AAS degree or equivalent hospital-based MRI training program with certificate of completion

  • ARRT Registered Technologist – R.T. (R)
