Company: M & J AUTO BODY SERVICE INC.
Type: Full-Time
Salary: Competitive, based on experience ($65,000 - $90,000 annually,18 to 22 per hour plus eligibility for commission incentives expected to range from 3000 to 4000 per month)
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Experienced Auto Body Estimator to join our team. In this role, you'll play a key part in assessing vehicle damage and providing accurate repair estimates to ensure high-quality service for our customers.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Thoroughly inspect damaged vehicles to evaluate the extent of bodywork, interior, and mechanical damage, determining costs for repairs or replacements.
  • Prepare detailed repair estimates, including labor, parts, and materials, while coordinating with insurance companies.
  • Provide excellent customer service by explaining estimates, answering questions, and ensuring a positive repair experience.
  • Collaborate with technicians to verify repair feasibility and adjust estimates as needed.

Requirements
Qualifications:
  • Proven experience (2+ years) as an Auto Body Estimator, Collision Estimator, or similar role in a body shop environment.
  • Strong knowledge of automotive repair processes, including damage assessment, parts identification, and cost calculation.
  • Familiarity with estimating software (CCC One, Mitchell) and industry standards.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
    • Ability to multitask, manage several jobs at once
    • Attention to detail/Quick learner/Positive can do attitude
    • Working with direct repair programs, DRP is preferred
  • Certification (e.g., I-CAR or ASE) is a plus.
  • High school diploma or equivalent; technical training preferred.
