Job description


DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Administrative & Facility Management

  • Make sure all messages and mail (client and staff)are distributed.

  • Disburse mail to clients after it has been logged in at administration.

  • Copy when needed; keep all pertinent forms up to date as necessary.

  • Coordinate clients' money withdrawals twice weekly.

  • Clear all floors for services per clinical schedule.

  • Clean Central Office during downtime i.e. during group & didactic - All shifts.

  • Other duties as assigned and deemed necessary.

Client Intake & Discharge

  • Process new admissions: facilitate a Quell shower, search belongings, sign clients into admissions book, log book, FYI, roll call report, and complete intake paperwork.

  • If the client doesn't return from pass, enter into FYI and write up the discharge report - Contact the primary counselor and clinical supervisor.

  • Facilitate orientation weekly.

Documentation & Communication

  • Check log book for incidents, document census, and admissions, and communicate with afternoon and midnight shifts.

  • Log any incident in the log book and FYI and complete the incident report.

  • Complete designated shift roll calls for all clients.

  • Complete an incident report on situations that are outside the realm of acceptable behavior according to EHi rules and regulations.

Monitoring & Supervision

  • Monitor building inside and outside also; e.g. checking to ensure that all doors and parking lot gates (midnight shift) are locked.

  • Verify/sign in all clients returning from the pass.

  • Monitor self-administered medication at proper times and log accordingly.

  • Monitor House GI (complete cleaning session).

  • Facilitate monthly and random urinalysis testing and room searches.

  • Monitor supervised recreation, and blacktop, facilitate and monitor all smoke breaks.

  • Inspect and distribute all packages entering the facility.

  • Inspect all passes for the correct date, time, and signatures.

  • Must be able to handle a crisis situation calmly and collectively.


MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS - EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

Must have a GED or high school diploma. Some college preferred. We will verify.

Must be able to pass digital literacy assessment.

Must have good organizational skills and be able to handle large volumes of work and various tasks simultaneously.

If in recovery, must have (5) years of continuous sobriety and abstinence.

Must have no current case open with the Department of Corrections.

Must be able to pass LEIN check.
