We are recruiting for a position within the Foreign Exchange Trade Support Team.
Responsibilities
- Direct support of the FX Sales and Trading desks, as well as providing support to all other teams covering a suite of FX products. Our client base is comprised of Asset Managers, Corporates, Hedge Funds, Central Banks and Interbank counterparties located globally.
In addition, the team is responsible for all FX trades transacted on behalf of other businesses such as Interest Rates, Equities, Private Wealth Management and Commodities.
- Responsible for monitoring and mitigating the firm's risk throughout the FX trade flow, front to back.
- Working with Sales and Trading on trade booking, allocations, give-ups and amendments. The position requires a lot of interaction with the FX Desk, so the ability to communicate with confidence and accuracy is essential.
- The position will also involve the review and resolution of exceptions and discrepancies across internal systems and with external counterparties. Attention to detail, and timely completion of tasks will play an integral role in ensuring the team executes on its responsibility to mitigation risk and deliver client excellence.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree required
- Preferred candidate with Foreign Exchange product knowledge; Deliverable and Non-Deliverable Spot, Forwards, Options, Vanilla and Exotic Trades
- Previous Middle Office / Trading Assistant experience
- Experience with risk management of Trader positions
- Superior Client Service skill set- Meticulous attention to detail
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to drive automation and improvement initiatives
- Ability to function at a high level in both a team environment, as well as on individual functions
- Ability to work under pressure in a time sensitive and deadline driven environment
- Relationship Management skills
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications
