Job description

Overview

This is a hybrid role with the expectation that time working will regularly take place inside and outside of a company office.

This position is responsible for delivering on the FX Product Development strategy. Responsible for ensuring the FX markets business has appropriate and robust Product Development outcomes, partnering with the FX Trading and Sales team peers to provide expert product specialist advice, knowledge of the full FX product offering workflows and features, and driving evolution in the FX Product offerings via product development activities.

In addition, they act as a key point of contact with the FX Operations and FX Technology teams to deliver new features, enhancements, and transformations of the FX Product offering. The FX Product Development Specialist owns the agenda for their specific product lifecycle domain of Channels & FX Price Distribution. They ensure that all their specific product domain(s) are aligned to the funded FX Technology Initiatives and features – and delivering the required business and outcomes across the scope of their specific domain.


Responsibilities


• Support delivery of the FX Product Development strategy as a member of the FX Product Development Specialist Management team. Influencing and partnering with product development specialists, both within FX and cross partner business lines.
• Driving delivery of the Channels & FX Price Distribution domain, working specifically across the capabilities and processes that are supported, including the tech initiatives and features that align to this domain and are enabling the FX Business Strategy.
• Being aware of the Operations solutions and technologies used to support the FX Business. Identify a future state platform strategy for a more efficient and controlled FX Ops function, related to the support of their specific domain(s).
• Support the delivery of the FX product development business outcomes. Partner with the appropriate Technology Product Owners and Systems Analyst in the outline of business requirements, to inform and validate the FX Feature backlog into FX Technology Pods and ensure alignment of the FX business and specific domain roadmap, understanding the agile frameworks and tools used by the FX Technology Delivery Pods. 


• Contribute into the prioritization and execution of key strategic product development initiatives, and new FX business opportunities and enhancements, by partnering with key FX Sales & Trading stakeholders. Understand cross-functional impacts within the Channels & FX Price Distribution domain they are responsible for.


Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree and 1 years of experience in Markets Products & Trading Instruments, Cross Border solutions and risk management: FX, Cross Border Trade Settlements, Core Banking Processing, Currency (non-USD) liquidity management and processing  OR High School Diploma or GED and 5 years of experience in Markets Products & Trading Instruments, Cross Border solutions and risk management: FX, Cross Border Trade Settlements, Core Banking Processing, Currency (non-USD) liquidity management and processing.

Preferred Area of Experience:
• Demonstrated interest in product development, new business development, and FX industry trends.
• Passion for driving toward an exceptional client experience (internal and external)
• Exceptional data analysis skills and ability to take a data driven approach to identifying and prioritizing needs and delivering change and product development delivery into data orientated platforms.
• Strong communication, collaboration, organizational and interpersonal skills
• Creative, strategic thinker with deep intellectual curiosity
• Ability to execute with an entrepreneurial spirit.

 

The base pay for this position is generally between $94,200.00 and $125,600.00. Actual starting base pay will be determined based on skills, experience, location, and other non-discriminatory factors permitted by law. For some roles, total compensation may also include variable incentives, bonuses, benefits, and/or other awards as outlined in the offer of employment.
