Entry-level assistants focus on highlighting the vibrant community of the UPIKE Humanities division through digital storytelling. The primary responsibility of this role is to create engaging social media content and write spotlight articles for UPIKE Humanities accounts. This position is designed for students looking to develop professional skills in interviewing, journalism, copywriting, and social media management from the ground up.
Responsibilities and Career Competencies:
  1. Conduct interviews with UPIKE Humanities alumni, current students, and faculty members to gather compelling stories and insights (C, CSD, CT)
  2. Write, draft, and edit engaging spotlight articles and features based on interviews for program distribution (C, CT)
  3. Create, schedule, and post dynamic photo, video, and text-based content for the UPIKE Humanities social media accounts (T, CTR)
  4. Collaborate on digital campaigns to increase engagement and visibility for the Humanities division (TW, L)
  5. Demonstrate punctuality, professionalism, strong attention to detail, and a creative drive to pitch new content ideas (P, CSD)
