Only requests from current college, university, or Educator Preparation Program students will be processed. Please only apply if your institution/program has requested Clinical Student Teaching or Classroom Observation hours with Fort Worth ISD.
FWISD collaborates with institutions, colleges, universities, and Educator Preparation Programs by providing clinical and observation hours for their education candidates. We are thrilled you considered taking the next step in your career with our district. Clinical Student Teachers and Classroom Observers have the opportunity to observe all grade levels in a variety of content areas.
Clinical/Observation Process:
  • - To begin, please email nadia.arriaga@fwisd.org a request letter from your university or program.
  • - Complete this online application
  • - Complete the following online forms:
    • - Guidelines and Confidentiality Acknowledgement
    • - Background check
**Forms will be emailed after application submission**
  • - Once your background check clears, an electronic clearance letter will be emailed within 2 to 3 business days.
  • - Your placement details will be sent after your clearance is approved and a placement is secured.
