Motion Well Physical Therapy is actively seeking a dedicated and skilled Physical Therapist to join our team at our Centreville, Virginia rehabilitation center. Key Responsibilities

As a Physical Therapist at Motion Well, you will:

• Conduct thorough consultations with patients to assess their physical conditions, symptoms, and individual needs.
• Diagnose movement dysfunction, establish precise treatment plans, and adjust these plans based on patient progress.
• Instruct patients in the proper use of therapeutic exercises aimed at improving strength, flexibility, and mobility.
• Utilize therapeutic modalities such as massage, heat, or electrical stimulation to promote healing and recovery.
• Guide patients in the use of adaptive equipment, ensuring they gain confidence and independence while using wheelchairs or walkers.
• Maintain detailed patient records that document assessments, treatment plans, goals, and progress.
• Counsel patients and their families on home care strategies, exercises, and wellness routines to support ongoing recovery.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our diverse patient population includes individuals seeking rehabilitation for sports injuries, post-operative recovery, chronic pain management, and other physical ailments. You will work closely with patients to create customized rehabilitation programs tailored to their unique circumstances, ultimately enhancing their functional movement and emotional well-being.

Qualifications

To excel in this role, candidates should possess the following qualifications:

• A Bachelor’s Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
• A valid State License to practice as a Physical Therapist.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills for effective patient interaction.
• Proficiency in computer applications for maintaining records and communicating with team members.
• Flexible mindset and adaptability in a dynamic clinical environment.

Preferred Experience

While a minimum of two years of clinical experience is required, candidates with experience in outpatient rehabilitation settings or specialized areas of physical therapy are strongly encouraged to apply.

Compensation and Benefits
