Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions is looking for a Part Time Transportation Support Staff who share our core values of Excellence, Trust, Care and Growth to assist families in honoring their loved ones.

We are currently seeking a part-time transportation support staff to join our Kettering Care Center.ย  This role works with our Care Center team to transport decedents within the Dayton market.

Successful team members are highly organized, extremely detail-oriented, effective communicators and treat families, decedents, colleagues and members of the community with dignity and respect.

Flexible Part Time hours are available seven days a week to fit your lifestyle.ย ย This is the ideal role for someone whoโ€™s passionate about making a difference and understands the importance of behind-the-scenes contributions that keep market operations running smoothly.ย ย Previous experience in healthcare, EMS or fire services is helpful!ย

Job Requirements and Essential Physical Responsibilities

โ€ขย ย  ย A high school diploma or GED
โ€ขย ย  ย A minimum of three months of similar or related experience
โ€ขย ย  ย The position requires the ability to tolerate exposure to hazardous substances subject to government requirements; occasional lifting, pushing and pulling, with assistance, of objects more than 100 pounds; manual dexterity required for clerical tasks; occasional stooping, bending, pushing, pulling and carrying objects weighing up to approximately 30 pounds for short distancesย 
โ€ขย ย  ย Ability to travel by standard methods of transportation. ย 
โ€ขย ย  ย Conservative professional dress as detailed in dress code policy
โ€ขย ย  ย Possess a valid Driversโ€™ License and meet the driving performance standards as determined by management. MVRโ€™s may be reviewed annually for compliance, and any conviction or at-fault accidents should be immediately reported to management
โ€ขย ย  ย Ability to work in a team environment
โ€ขย ย  ย Varying hours available. Hours available include Sunday through Saturday. ย There is no guarantee on the number of hours available to work. ย
