SUMMARY:

The Manager Functional Processes is responsible for designing, implementing, and continuously improving functional processes that accelerate the delivery of the DeC Americas 2030 Ambition. It plays a critical part in strengthening organizational leadership and building bench strength across the region. The role strategically deploys top functional talent across priority initiatives, critical capability gaps, and transformation programs to ensure execution excellence. At the same time, it fosters the development of future leaders by providing hands-on exposure to high impact projects, structured mentorship, and cross functional experiences

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Lead and deliver high-priority functional projects, strategic initiatives, and critical operational challenges across the function.
  • Apply deep subject matter expertise to solve complex problems, develop solutions, and accelerate decision-making.
  • Ensure consistent execution and governance of functional strategies, standards, and best practices across the organization.
  • Step into critical roles during period of transition, peak demand, or capability gaps to ensure business continuity and performance stability.
  • Support functional transformation initiatives, including process improvements, digital adoption, and organizational change efforts.
  • Champion a culture of continuous improvement, innovation, and accountability to enhance operational effectiveness.
  • Collaborate with cross functional stakeholders (internal and external) to design, implement and scale process improvements ensuring effective adoption, clear communication, and sustainable outcomes.


EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:

  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, Engineering, or related field.
  • 5-6 years of relevant experience in project management.
  • Demonstrated expertise in leading complex, cross-functional initiatives. First Choice or Six Sigma certification preferred.


SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Strong ability to align, influence, and mobilize teams across multiple initiatives without direct authority.
  • Proven track record of delivering results in complex, fast-paced environments.
  • Exceptional problem-solving and analytical capabilities, with the ability to interpret data and generate actionable insights.
  • Strong business acumen to assess performance and recommend improvements and efficiencies.
  • High level of proficiency in MS Excel, MS PowerPoint and data visualization tools
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Strong consultative interviewing skills to diagnose complex challenges, identify priorities, and build data-driven business cases for process and performance optimization
  • Familiarity with the Agile Life Cycle
  • Project Management certification (e.g., PMP) is a plus.
  • High level of professionalism, discretion, and ability to handle sensitive information.
  • Ability to work under pressure with resilience and adaptability.
  • High degree of mobility and flexibility, including willingness to relocate domestically or internationally for rotational assignments.
