The (USA) Realty Project Coach is responsible for overseeing the successful execution of realty projects by managing timelines, deliverables, and stakeholder collaboration. This role directs associates and vendors to ensure project requirements are met while maintaining alignment with corporate strategies. The position involves coordinating cross-functional teams, monitoring budgets, and resolving construction and operational issues to support facility goals. The Realty Project Coach fosters accountability, drives continuous improvement, and ensures compliance with company policies, contributing to efficient project delivery and a positive work environment aligned with Walmart’s standards and values.
About the team:
The Realty Execution team at Walmart US leads store remodels, new openings, and special projects nationwide, ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and to quality standards. The team collaborates with store leadership and cross-functional partners to manage timelines, vendor coordination, and resource allocation. Members provide guidance to associates and address escalations to maintain smooth operations. Focused on continuous improvement and clear communication, the team drives successful project execution that supports Walmart’s commitment to operational excellence and customer satisfaction.

  • Facilitate cross-functional meetings to analyze plans, address obstacles, and implement corrective actions.
  • Direct associates and vendors on processes, procedures, and modular plan reviews to meet facility goals.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders including engineers, architects, and facility management to align project phases and design changes.
  • Monitor budgets, schedules, and procurement to ensure cost-effective and efficient project delivery.
  • Provide mentorship, training, and development opportunities to associates, fostering accountability and continuous improvement.
  • Communicate project plans and progress clearly to all key stakeholders.

The annual salary range for this position is $60,000.00 - $110,000.00 Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses. Additional compensation for certain positions may also include :

Bachelor’s degree in Business or related field and 1 year’s experience in project management, space management, store design, operations, data analysis, or related area OR 3 years’ experience in project management, space management, store design, operations, data analysis, or related area.
Associates will be required to attend and successfully complete all job-required trainings and assessments (for example, Academy trainings, Open Door trainings, etc.).
